As I was reading the Saturday morning paper, a full-page ad caught my eye. Auckland War Memorial Museum is hosting an exhibition on Charles Darwin, and it opens on September 29. Yep, I'll be going!
Even if you can't make it to the Museum, the exhibition website looks like it'll be a useful teaching & learning resource in its own right. There's historical and biographical information, and what will be a fairly extensive section on evolution. And if you can get there, there's an extensive programe of public events. I'm hoping that we'll get up there in the next couple of weeks, so I'll be able to give you a first-hand report after that.
