I’ve been out of the office for a couple of days, with other things on my mind. Unfortunately when this happens there’s always a pile of stuff (that needed doing yesterday) waiting on one’s desk. So I’m afraid that I might not be in a position to post anything here for the next couple of days. But don’t go away – I’ll be back 🙂
Renee says:
Congratulations!!!!
As for the pile up of stuff on your desk, I suggest the following method:
Throw everything up in the air. Anything that lands face-up, you deal with. Anything that lands face-down gets filed in the shredding bin…
Alison Campbell says:
Sounds like a colleague’s (claimed but unlikely) method for marking large numbers of assignments: stand at the top of the stairs & let them go. The ones on the top step get the A+…
herr doktor bimler says:
The Stair method is usually attributed to Oxford, though only by those losers from Cambridge.
Alison Campbell says:
Ah, that explains it 🙂
Grant says:
Who’s calling people from Cambridge losers? Bah!
Alison Campbell says:
I’ll leave you & herr doktor to sort this one out between you. Renee & I will watch & pass the popcorn round 🙂
