The3is in Three final

The final of The3is in Three was a couple of weeks ago now – so I thought I’d better mention it before it becomes too out of date.  As was the case last year, it was a great evening of entertainment, compered wonderfully by Te Radar.

There were ten stunning three-minute presentations, covering all areas of research of the university. Unfortunately, my student didn’t win. And nor did anyone from science. That honour went to a student from the Waikato Managment School, who talked passionately about corporate bullying in South East Asia, and the ways they go about getting what they want in large organizations.  After her talk, Te Radar suggested that she be flown down to Wellington to sort out Warner Brothers.

I’m looking forward to next year’s presentations already.
