ワイカト大学では毎月1回日本映画［えいが］を上映［じょうえい］しています。無料［むりょう］(muryo is free)で、英語の字幕［じまく］(jimaku is subtitles)がついています。誰［だれ］でも来ることができます。
5月の映画［えいが］は『パッチギ!』で、今週の木曜日［もくようび］、5月14日にワイカト大学のL3で上映［じょうえい］の予定［よてい］です。高校生［こうこうせい］のお話で、日本人と日本に住む韓国人［かんこくじん］（日本語で在日［ざいにち］韓国人［かんこくじん］、と言います）の2人のラブ･ストーリーも入［はい］っています。2004年に作られた映画［えいが］で、日本ではとてもヒットしました。続作［ぞくさく］『パッチギ! Love & Peace』も2007年に作［つく］られました。今週［こんしゅう］、ワイカト大学で見るのは、2004年に作［つく］られたオリジナル作品［さくひん］です。みなさん、是非［ぜひ］来てください。

Story: Set in Kyoto in 1968. Tensions arise when members of a Japanese high school karate group insult two girls from a neighboring school for Korean students.
