もう9月[がつ]も終[お]わりですけど、日本[にほん]はまだ夏[なつ]のようなお天気[てんき]が続[つづ]いています。
September is almost over now, but it is still quite warm and summery weather continues in Japan now.
日本[にほん]の夏[なつ]と言[い]えば…花火[はなび]です! 夏[なつ]の間[あいだ]、特[とく]に7月[がつ]、8月[がつ]は全国[ぜんこく]各地[かくち]で花火[はなび]大会[たいかい]が行[おこな]われます。東京[とうきょう]の隅田川[すみだがわ]の花火[はなび]大会[たいかい]に一度[いちど]行[い]ったことがありますが、本当[ほんとう]に素晴[すば]らしかったです。とても素晴[すば]らしいので人[ひと]が多[おお]くて大変[たいへん]でしたけど…。
ある人のブログに素晴[すば]らしい花火[はなび]の写真[しゃしん]を見[み]つけました。日本[にほん]の花火[はなび]を見[み]たことがない人[ひと]は是非[ぜひ]見[み]てみてください。
Speaking of Japanese summer, you cannot forget… fireworks! There are firework festivals being held all over the country during summer – especially in July and August. One of the most famous ones, I reckon, is Sumida River firework festival in Tokyo. I went there once and it was absolutely utterly gorgeous although there were so so so many people there and it was quite hard to walk through.
