Muji was originally established in Japan but there are many branches all over the world now. U.K. has it and U.S. has it too, not New Zealand though… Muji seems very popular out there.
Muji sells all sorts of things, for example, cloths, stationeries, furniture, Manchester goods, kitchen goods, food, and so on. If you do not know about Muji, please have a look at this site or this site. Or you could find a lot of info easily via Google Search with the keyword “Muji”. Any products sold at Muji have very simple and stylish design and they are reasonably priced. That’s why Muji is quite popular, I reckon.
I found an article written by an American (I am not 100% sure but at least the person does not seem to be Japanese!) about Muji. The interesting thing about this article is that it is not about the products sold at Muji but about its customer service. The writer made a comparison between Japanese and American customer service.
