私はこの朝日[あさひ]新聞[しんぶん]の記事[きじ]を読[よ]むまで、全然[ぜんぜん]知[し]りませんでした。毎年[まいとし]、このコスプレサミットが開[ひら]かれていて今年[ことし]は8回目[かいめ]だそうです。とても人気[にんき]があって、世界[せかい]のいろいろな国[くに]から参加者[さんかしゃ] (= participants)が来[き]ます。このサミットのウェブサイトには、日本語[にほんご]版[ばん]、英語[えいご]版[ばん]、そして中国語[ちゅうごくご]版[ばん]があります。

I knew nothing about this summit until I read this article on Asahi Shimbun Newspaper today. This summit is held every year and it is the 8th year this year. Apparently it is very popular and people participate in it from all over the world. This is its official website in Japanese and it has the English version as well as the Chinese version.
