Strange Fruit

It was a public holiday called “Culture Day” in Japan this Wednesday. Apparently there were many events held all over the country on the day, 3 November.

A public art gallery in Kochi prefecture held all sorts of events to celebrate its 17th year anniversary. One of the events was performance offered by “Strange Fruit”—this is a dance group from Australia! This group is internationally well-known and their performance was well-received in Kochi as well. This page of Asahi Shimbun Newspaper shows a photo of their performance.

I hope New Zealand performance groups will be invited there, in Japan sometime!
