12月[がつ]になって、クリスマスも近[ちか]いし、とても忙[いそが]しいですよね。こんなとき、こんなお弁当[べんとう]があれば、便利[べんり](= convenient)でいいですよね。 It is December and Christmas is approaching. Everybody is so busy. It would be very handy if O-bento (= boxed meal) would be readily available in such busy days!

日本[にほん]には、飲[の]み物[もの]の自販機[じはんき](= vending machine)がたくさんあります。最近[さいきん]は、コーンスープも買[か]えるんですよ。今[いま]日本[にほん]は冬[ふゆ]ですから、もちろん、あたたかいスープです。びっくりですね! There are millions of vending machines in Japan. You can even buy a can of sweetcorn soup. it is winter over there and this soup is available really nicely hot! Isn’t is amazing!

日本人[にほんじん]は、秋[あき]に赤[あか]や黄色[きいろ]になったきの葉[は]っぱ(もみじなど)を見[み]るのが好[す]きです。今[いま]、日本[にほん]は、紅葉[こうよう](= red and yellow leaves)の季節[きせつ](= season)の終[お]わりごろです。 Japanese people love to see red and yellow leaves (e.g. maple leaves) in autumn. It is the end of the season right now in Japan.
