I read an article about Japanese food in The New Zealand Herald yesterday.
イギリスの有名[ゆうめい]な料理[りょうり]研究家[けんきゅうか] (= a food writer)、ナイジェル・スレーターさんが、日本[にほん]へ行[い]きました。地震[じしん] (= earthquake)のあとで、飛行機[ひこうき]はとても空[す]いて(= empty)いたそうです。日本[にほん]のいろいろなところで、いろいろな日本[にほん]の食[た]べ物[もの]を食[た]べたそうです。食[た]べ物[もの]についてとてもたくさん書[か]いてありますから、全部[ぜんぶ]ここには引用[いんよう] (= to cite)できません。
興味[きょうみ]がある人[ひと]は、ヘラルド新聞[しんぶん]のこのページを読[よ]んでください! 読[よ]むと、きっと日本[にほん]へ行[い]ってみたくなるでしょう!! 私[わたし]も帰[かえ]りたくなりました～。
Nigel Slater, a famous British food writer, wrote about his trip to Japan. He went there after the earthquake and apprently the airplane was half-empty… But I do not think that he regrets that he went to Japan now!
