Blood type and Japanese politicians

I read an amazing article about a Japanese politician in Asahi Shimbun Newspaper the other day.

Mr Matsumoto, a former minister, resigned because he made inconsiderate and arrogant statements lately (hurting earthquake victims very badly). Then, apparently he excused himself like “my blood type is B; therefore, I am a bit myopic”. He blamed his blood type for his own bad decision!

Not surprisingly, foreign medias were very surprised and reported his excuses immediately. I was surprised too!
