日本[にほん]ではいまだに地震[じしん] (= earthquake)の復興[ふっこう] (= recovery)が続[つづ]いています。

ご存知[ぞんじ]のように、福島[ふくしま]原発[げんぱつ] (= Fukushima Nuclear Power Plants)の問題[もんだい]が深刻[しんこく]です。今[いま]、日本[にほん]で大[おお]きく問題[もんだい]になっているのは、牛肉[ぎゅうにく]問題[もんだい]。それは、セシウム(= caesium)に汚染[おせん]された(= contaminated)わら(= straws)を食[た]べた牛[うし]が、牛肉[ぎゅうにく]になってスーパーで売[う]られているのです。福島[ふくしま]原発[げんぱつ]から150km離[はな]れた場所[ばしょ]のわらからも、セシウムが検出[けんしゅつ] された(= to be detected)そうです。朝日新聞[あさひしんぶん]のここで、ニュースを読[よ]むことができます。また、上のYouTubeのニュースでも(mp4のフォーマット、TBS News-iより)、このニュースを見ることができます。
原発[げんぱつ]の問題[もんだい]は本当[ほんとう]にこわいです。
As you know, the problems at Fukushima Nuclear Power Plants are really serious. Now Japanese media talk about beef problems. Apparently cows having eaten straws near Fukushima have been sold and the beef from those cows now appears in supermarkets across the country.
