昨日[きのう]の写真[しゃしん]は、障子[しょうじ]です。障子[しょうじ]は、ご覧[らん]の通[とお]り(= as you can see)、木[き]の枠[わく](= frame)に和紙[わし](= traditional Japanese paper)を張[は]ったものです。和紙[わし]は丈夫[じょうぶ](= robust)ですが、そのうち破[やぶ]れます(= to tear)。破[やぶ]れた和紙[わし]を取[と]り除[のぞ]いて(= to get rid of)、新[あたら]しい和紙[わし]をはると、障子[しょうじ]がきれいになります。12月の大掃除[おおそうじ]で、この障子[しょうじ]の張[は]り替[か]えをすることが多いです。
