冷[つめ]たいうどんもありますよ! There is a cold Udon dish as well! ニュージーランドでは、私[わたし]の知[し]る限[かぎ]り(= as far as I know)、冷[つめ]たい麺[めん](= noodle)を食[た]べる習慣[しゅうかん](= habit)はないようですね。みなさんはどうですか。冷[つめ]たい麺[めん]を食[た]べますか。 As far as I know, New Zealand people do not have a habit to eat cold noodle dishes (except pasta salad, should I say). Do you eat cold noodle dishes?

日本では、マクドナルドでも、おいしいアイスコーヒーを買うことができます。アイスコーヒーを買うと、ミルクとシロップがいっしょについてきます。ニュージーランドのマクドナルドはどうなんでしょうか? You can buy a nice glass of iced coffee at McDonald’s in Japan. When you buy it there, a small potion of milk and syrup always comes along with coffee. Can we buy this at McDonald’s in New Zealand?

日本は夏ですが、ニュージーランドは春です! このポストの写真[しゃしん]は数日[すうじつ]前[まえ]に撮[と]りました。下の写真[しゃしん]は、私[わたし]たちの学科[がっか](= school)のオフィスから撮[と]りました。つまり、ワイカト大学のキャンパスに今[いま]来[き]たら、この美[うつく]しい桜[さくら]が見られるということです! きれいでしょう? It is still summer in Japan, but spring has sprung in New Zealand. I took these photos a few days ago. The following one was taken from our office. This means, you could see this beautiful cherry blossom at our campus if you would visit us now! Aren’t they pretty!?
