レースが始[はじ]まった直後[ちょくご](= immediately after)の写真[しゃしん]です。この日[ひ]は、波[なみ](= wave)がとても荒[あら]くて(= rough)とてもダイナミックなレースとなりました。
The photo shows the moment immediately after the race started. The waves on that day were so rough and the race looked so dynamic!
