今週[こんしゅう]の水曜日[すいようび]、International Food FASS’tival を開催[かいさい]しました(= be held)。FASS’tival というのは、FASS (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences) と Festival をあわせて作[つく]ったことばです。毎年[まいとし]、Race Relations Dayを記念[きねん]して、開[ひら]いています(= be held)。
今年[ことし]もたくさんの人[ひと]たちが参加[さんか]しました(= participated)。楽[たの]しかったです。
We held International Food FASS’tival to celebrate Race Relations Day this year again. FASS’tival is a made-word from FASS (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences) and Festival.
Quite a few students and staff members joined us. It was absolutely fun!
