今[いま]、ニュージーランドは秋[あき](= autumn)のはずですが、まだまだ夏[なつ]らしいお天気[てんき]が続[つづ]いています(= to continue)。ここしばらく(= these days (actually, I should say "weeks" to describe our current situation))、ニュージーランドではいいお天気[てんき]が続[つづ]いています。そして、雨[あめ]が全然[ぜんぜん]降[ふ]りません。農家[のうか](= farmers)のみなさんは、水[みず]がなくて、とても深刻[しんこく]な(= serious)問題[もんだい]を抱[かか]えています。
It should be called Autumn now in New Zealand, I suppose, but it is still very summary. Actually the weather has been so fine and we have not had rain for a while, and the farmers face very serious situations right now.
Anyway, sea gulls seem not to care such things…
