ドラえもん、知[し]っていますよね? ドラえもんは1970年[ねん]に生[う]まれました。国際的[こくさいてき]に(= internationally)有名[ゆうめい]な日本[にほん]のマンガのキャラクターです。日本語[にほんご]の教科書[きょうかしょ]にもドラえもんは出[で]てきます。
I am sure you know Doraemon, right? He was born in 1970. Doraemon is one of the most famous international cartoon characters. Doraemon even appears in a Japanese language textbook!
藤子[ふじこ]・F・不二雄[ふじお]さんは、ドラえもんを作[つく]った人[ひと]の1人です。80年前[ねんまえ]に生[う]まれました。生誕[せいたん]80年[ねん]を記念[きねん]して(= to celebrate)、今年[ことし]7月から東京[とうきょう]タワーで特別[とくべつ]展示会[てんじかい](= exhibition)があるそうです。いろんなドラえもんのぬいぐるみなどが、東京[とうきょう]タワーのあちこちに現[あらわ]れます!
私[わたし]は子供[こども]のとき、テレビでドラえもんを見[み]ました。ドラえもんは今[いま]も(= even now)子供[こども]たちにとても人気[にんき]があります。この展示会[てんじ]、とてもおもしろそうですね!
Mr Fujiko F. Fujio, who was one of the creators of Doraemon, was born 80 years ago. To celebrate his 80th, a special exhibition will be held in July this year. All sorts of Draemon’s soft-toys and so on will appear in Tokyo Tower during the exhibition.
I watched Doraemon on TV when I was a kid. Doraemon is still very popular among kids nowadays. This exhibition sounds real fun!
