忙[いそが]しくて、最近[さいきん](= recently)何[なに]もブログに書[か]いていません。すみません。大学[だいがく]が期末[きまつ](= the end of a term)の時期[じき]なんです。
まだ忙[いそが]しくて、書[か]きたいことをまとめる時間[じかん]がとれません（例[たと]えば、福島[ふくしま]原発[げんぱつ](= Fukushima Nuclear Power Plants)のことなど。まだまだ問題[もんだい]山積[やまづ]みです!!） そういうわけで、今日[きょう]は身近[みじか]なことについて書[か]きます。プケコです! これは、ニュージーランドの鳥[とり]です。キウィのように特別[とくべつ]な鳥[とり]ではありません。ハミルトンのいたる所[ところ](= anywhere)で見[み]ることができます。この写真[しゃしん]は今朝[けさ]、家[うち]の近[ちか]くで撮[と]りました。
I have not posted anything for a while – simply because I have been busy, sorry! It is the end of a term at the university.
I am still a bit busy and cannot have time to put things I want to write about together (e.g. Fukushima issues (yes, there are still all sorts of incidents happening from day to day)), I will write about something I regularly encounter today, which is Pukeko. This is a native NZ bird. Not like Kiwi birds, you can see them anywhere in Hamilton. I took the above photo this morning near my house.
