今年[ことし]の気球祭[ききゅうまつり](= balloon festival)、昨日[きのう]で終[お]わりました。We had a wonderful balloon festival in Hamilton this year and it ended yesterday.
今年[ことし]来[こ]られなかった人[ひと]!－来年[らいねん]もありますから、来年[らいねん]是非[ぜひ]ハミルトンに見[み]に来[き]てください。
写真[しゃしん]は、昨日[きのう]、ハミルトンの街[まち]を歩[ある]いていたときに撮[と]りました。こんな風[ふう]に、空[そら]に浮[う]かぶ(= to float)気球[ききゅう]を見[み]るのはいいものです。ゴーゴーという大[おお]きな音[おと]がするので、犬[いぬ]はあまり好[す]きじゃないようです。。。

I took these photos yesterday while I was walking around in town. It is nice to see balloons in the sky like this! Balloons cause huge noise when they fire; so dogs seem not so keen on them…
