日本[にほん]の新聞[しんぶん]にニュージーランドの記事[きじ]を見[み]つけました。I found an article about New Zealand in Japanese newspaper the other day.
朝日[あさひ]新聞[しんぶん]に、ニュージーランド航空[こうくう] (= Air New Zealand)の新[あたら]しい座席[ざせき] (= seat)システムのニュースがありました。ニュージーランド航空[こうくう]は先月[せんげつ]、アメリカでこの座席[ざせき]システムのボーイング787-9機[き]のお披露目[ひろめ] (= launch)をしました。この座席[ざせき]システムは「スカイカウチ」というそうです。これは、エコノミークラスの乗客[じょうきゃく] (= passenger)が、3席分[せきぶん]を使[つか]って、その上[うえ]にマットレスを敷[し]き、普通[ふつう]寝[ね]るように寝[ね]られる、というものです。
この新[あたら]しい飛行機[ひこうき]は、10月から、ニュージーランド－オーストラリア間[かん]で、そして11月[がつ]から、日本[にほん]へと飛[と]び始[はじ]めるそうです。
多[おお]くの人[ひと]が、快適[かいてき] な(= comfortable)空[そら]の旅[たび]ができ、そして、ニュージーランドで楽[たの]しい時間[じかん]が過[す]ごせるようになったらいいと思[おも]います（もちろん、どの航空[こうくう]会社[がいしゃ] (= airline)の飛行機[ひこうき]で来[き]ても、ニュージーランドは大歓迎[だいかんげい] (= most welcome)ですよ!!）
Asahi Shimbun Newspaper reports the news of Air New Zealand having launched with its new seating system. The launch was held in US last month. The new system is called “Sky couch”. Basically this is for economy class passengers to use several seats together, put a sleeping mattress on them and sleep there like you normally sleep in bed. Air New Zealand will start flying this special Boeing 787-9 in October between New Zealand and Australia and then it will appear in November between New Zealand and Japan as well.
It would be nice to see more tourists having an pleasant flight experience and a wonderful time in New Zealand! (but I have to add that anybody and everybody is welcome to come to New Zealand no matter which airline you would use!)
