クールジャパン、知[し]っていますよね? いまや、日本[にほん]はアニメ、マンガなど、クールで格好[かっこう]いい文化[ぶんか]で有名[ゆうめい]です。
I am sure you have heard of Cool Japan! Yes, now Japan is famous for its cool culture such as amine, manga and so on.
でも今日[きょう]は、クールじゃなくて、キュート、かわいい日本[にほん]についてです。例[たと]えば、ハローキティ、とてもかわいいねこのキャラクターです。これは日本[にほん]生[う]まれです。
私[わたし]は、朝日[あさひ]新聞[しんぶん]で、かわいい食[た]べ物[もの]の記事[きじ]を読[よ]みました。前[まえ]に、ここに大根[だいこん]おろしアートについて書[か]きました。朝日[あさひ]新聞[しんぶん]のこのページは、そのようなかわいい料理[りょうり]が簡単[かんたん]に作[つく]れる道具[どうぐ] (= tool)を紹介[しょうかい]しています。説明[せつめい]するのは難[むず]しいです。興味[きょうみ]がある人[ひと]は、ぜひこのページの写真[しゃしん]を見[み]てください。
日本[にほん]人のかわいいに捧[ささ]げる(= to devote)情熱(= passion)は、本当[ほんとう]にびっくりです!

Anyway , some Japanese people devote themselves to create cute dishes. I wrote about grated radish art here before. This page in Asahi Shimbun Newspaper shows all sorts of gadgets which enable you to create all sorts of cute dishes. It is very hard to describe what they are; so please have a look at this page even if you do not understand Japanese text. There are some photos showing what I am talking about.
It is amazing how much efforts Japanese people would put for cuteness!
