日本のラグビーはあまり強くありません。しかし、2019年、日本でラグビーW杯[はい]を開催[かいさい]します(= to host)。勝[か]たなければいけません。
日本ラグビーは今からいろいろ計画[けいかく]をしています。これから8月まで、何度[なんど]も合宿[がっしゅく] (= training camp)をするそうです。その合計[ごうけい] (= total)日数[にっすう]は75日! これまでこんなに練習[れんしゅう]したことはなかったそうです。朝日[あさひ]新聞[しんぶん]のこのページでニュースを読みました。
今年は、9月にイギリスでラグビーW杯[はい]が開[ひら]かれます。まず、ここで勝[か]たなくては! 頑[がん]張[ば]れ、日本!!
Japan is not famous for rugby… But the country will host the rugby world cup in 2019. They’ve got to improve their skills!!
Their long winding road has already started. I just read a report in Asahi Shimbun Newspaper saying they have a lot of intensive training camps this year. Training has been already scheduled and it consists of 75 day-training camp in total from time to time until August. Apparently they had never had that hard training before. It shows how serious Japan's determination is!
As you know, the rugby world cup will take place in UK in September this year. The team Japan must win there. Go Japan!!!
