先日、オールブラックスが、ラグビーW杯のための新しいジャージーを発表[はっぴょう]しました。キャプテンのリッチー・マコウがそのジャージーを来て、記者会見[きしゃかいけん](= press conference)に出ました。私もテレビで見ました（ここでそのニュースが読めます）。
New All Blacks jerseys for the Rugby World Cup this year were unveiled a few days ago. Richie MaCaw appeared wearing it at the press conference and I saw it on TV (you can read the news here).
そして、昨日! オール・ジャパンも新しいジャージーを発表しました（ニュースはここで）。この2つのニュースは同じようなニュースですが、印象[いんしょう](= impression)が違[ちが]いました。はっ きり言って、日本でラグビーはあまり人気がありません。この新しいジャージーのニュースもそんな大きなニュース、という感じはありませんでした。それに比 べて、オール・ブラックスのニュースは、もっとドラマチックで、そして、大きなきらびやかな感じのニュースです。ニュージーランドの記者会見では、マコウ が新しいジャージーを来て現[あらわ]れました。そしてメディアも大きな注目[ちゅうもく](= attention)を寄[よ]せました(= paid)。
でもでも! 大切なのは9月の試合[しあい]です! がんばれ、オール・ジャパン!!!
All Japan also made it public yesterday – yes, Japan will also go to England to play the rugby there (the report is available here)!
An interesting thing I have noticed is that a way of presenting this news; they looks quite different between New Zealand and Japan. In Japan, I have to admit that rugby is not such popular sport and the news does not look so flashy or a big deal. On the contrary, the New Zealand news looks so much more dramatic and big. You know, Richie himself appeared for this presentation and all media paid really good attention to it.
Anyway, what matters is the games in England in September! Go All Japan!
