Wishing you a Happy New Year

It is the New Year's Eve today. What are you doing?

I ate 'toshikoshi-soba' (New Year's Eve buckwheet noodle). It is Japanese custom to eat soba-noodle on the New Year's Eve. So the 31st of December is definitely the busiest day in a year for soba-noodle restaurants in Japan.

I ate Tempura with soba-noodle (Tempura is not part of the custom; people often eat soba-noodle and something else though).

I wish you all a Happy New Year.
