今日は3月3日、日本ではひな祭[まつ]りの日です。ひな祭りについては、前[まえ]にも書きました。It is the 3rd of March today, yes, the day of Dolls Festival in Japan. I wrote about this here before.
日本では、この日、女の子たちの健[すこ]やかな成長[せいちょう]を祈[いの]って、お祝[いわ]いします。
私はちいさな人形でお祝いします（上の写真は、山口県の名産[めいさん]、大内[おおうち]人形[にんぎょう]のひな人形です）。大きなフルセットのひな人形(とても高いです!)は、以下の写真のとおりです。
In Japan, people pray for girls' health and prosperity today.
I will remark this date with a little dolls shown in the photo above (this type of dolls is called Ouchi nin'gyo, special crafts made only in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan). If you prefer a full-size dolls set , you might like the ones in the photo below (which is very expensive!).
