再び8月6日… 6 August again…

明日は、8月6日、そう、広島[ひろしま]に原爆[げんばく](= atomic bomb)が落[お]とされた(= dropped)日です。

71年前、バーク・あきこさんは広島にいました。今日のニュージーランド・ヘラルド紙にバークさんの体験[たいけん](= experience)が載[の]っています(= to be published)。バークさんは今オークランドに住んでいます。

この週末[しゅうまつ]、ニュージーランドでも、例[たと]えばオークランドやネイピアで、広島と長崎[ながさき]の原爆[げんばく]投下[とうか](= the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki)の日にあわせて、集[あつ]まり(= gathering)があるそうです。ニュージーランド・ヘラルド紙で読みました。

世界中に平和[へいわ](= peace)が訪[おとず]れます(= to come)ように。

It is 6 August tomorrow – yes, it's the day Hiroshima got an atomic bomb.

Akiko Burke was there 71 years ago. Mrs Burke, who lives in Auckland now, talked about her experience to New Zealand Herald.

People in New Zealand, for example, in Auckland and Napier, will gather to commemorate the days of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

We all wish peace and happiness all over the world.
