It is now the cherry blossom season in New Zealand. In Japan, when the cherry blossom season comes (normally between March and April), people have a party called hanami. Basically it is a picnic under/near beautiful cherry trees. Why don’t we do it here, in New Zealand!? It will be fun! 今、ニュージーランドでは桜[さくら]が咲[さ]いてとてもきれいです。日本では桜の季節[きせつ](= season)にパーティーをします。花見[はなみ]、と言います。きれいな桜の木の近[ちか]くでピクニックをするのです。ニュージーランドでもやってみませんか。きっと楽[たの]しいですよ!
