先日[せんじつ]、日本[にほん]では参議院[さんぎいん] (= upper house)選挙[せんきょ] (= election)がありました。この選挙[せんきょ] については、このブログでも書[か] きました。候補者[こうほしゃ]たち(= candidates)はウェブサイトを使[つか]って有権者[ゆうけんしゃ] (= voters)に投票[とうひょう] (= vote)をお願[ねが]いしました。 As I mentioned here the other day, an upper house election took place in Japan lately.
