しばらく前に、菜園[さいえん](= vege garden)用[よう](= for)の肥料[ひりょう](= fertiliser)を使[つか]って、余[あま]った分[ぶん]を外[そと]に置[お]いておきました。つい最近[さいきん]、袋[ふくろ](= bag)から肥料がばらまかれているのに気づきました。一体何が起こったのか、全[まったく]くわかりません。しかし! 昨晩[さくばん]犯人[はんにん](= offender)を突[つ]き止[と]めました(= detected)っ。犯人は。。。 I left a bag of fertiliser for the vege garden outside some time ago.
