家の引越し Moving a house

家[いえ]の引越[ひっこ]しを今日[きょう]目撃[もくげき]しました(= witnessed)。家[いえ]の中[なか]の人[ひと]が引[ひ]っ越[こ]すんじゃなくて、家[いえ]が引越[ひっこ]しをするんです。日本[にほん]ではとても珍[めず]しいと思[おも]いますが、ュージーランドでは家[いえ]の引越[ひっこ]しはそんなに珍[めず]しくはないと思[おも]います。でも私[わたし]は今日[きょう]初[はじ]めて実際[じっさい]に(= actually)見[み]ました!　ビックリです!! 春の始まり The first day of Spring

9月です。ニュージーランドでは、9月から春[はる]だと考[かんが]えます。テレビのニュースなどでも9月1日に「今日[きょう]から春[はる]です」というようなコメントを聞[き]きます。実際[じっさい]はまだまだ寒[さむ]いんですけど(ハミルトンの今日の最高気温[さいこうきおん]は16度[ど]です)。 It is September now. People think that Spring begins in September in New Zealand; although it is quite cold… (the highest in Hamilton today is 16 degrees). We often hear something like "it's Spring from today" in TV news on the 1st of September.

明日ハミルトンにて　チーフス対ブランビーズ!! Investec Super Rugby 2013 Final – Chiefs vs. Brumbies TOMORROW!!!

先週[せんしゅう]の土曜日[どようび]、ハミルトンにあるワイカト・スタジアムでラグビーの試合[しあい] (= game)がありました。これはとても大切[たいせつ]な試合[しあい]でした。ラグビーチームの今年[ことし]の優勝者[ゆうしょうしゃ] (= champion)を決[き]めるトーナメントの試合[しあい]だったからです。この試合[しあい]は準決勝[じゅんけっしょう] (= semi-final)でした。ハミルトンのチーム、チーフスと、クライストチャーチのチーム、クルセイダーズが戦[たたか]いました。そして20-19で、チーフスが勝[か]ちました(http://www.chiefs.co.nz/ を見てください)!　ということは… There was a very important rugby match held at Waikato Stadium located in Hamilton last Saturday.
