春遠からじ3 Spring is just around the corner…3

ニュージーランドでは、9月1日から春[はる]が始[はじ]まると考[かんが]えられています(= to be thought)。8月も今日で終わり、まさに、春遠[とお]からじ(= not so far)です。 上の写真[しゃしん]は、今朝[けさ]撮[と]りました。プラムの木です。 People in New Zealand think spring starts on the 1st of September. August is almost over and yes, indeed, spring is just around the corner… I took the above photo this mroning; this is a prum tree.

日本の異常な天気 Extraordinary weather in Japan

今、日本の南[みなみ]の方[ほう]では、ものすごい大雨[おおあめ]が降[ふ]っています。6月、7月は梅雨[つゆ](= rainy season)です。梅雨は雨がたくさん降る季節[きせつ](= season)です。だから雨が降ることは珍[めずら]しく(= rare)はありません。しかし、今の大雨のレベルは、ふつうではありません。行方不明[ゆくえふめい](= missing)になった人がいるし、避難勧告[ひなんかんこく](= evacuation order)も出されました。 詳[くわ]しいニュースが読みたい人は、例[たと]えばこのニュースサイトがあります（日本語のサイトです、ひどい雨の様子[ようす]を写[うつ]した動画[どうが](= motion picture)も見られます）。 It has been raining particularly in the southern part of Japan these days. ひな祭り Dolls Festival

今日は3月3日、ひな祭[まつり]りの日です。女の子のいる家庭[かてい](= household)では、特別[とくべつ]な人形[にんぎょう](おひなさま、と言います)を飾[かざ]り、女の子の幸[しあわ]せ(= happiness)や健康[けんこう](= good health)を祈[いの]ります(= to wish)。 下の写真[しゃしん]は、おひなさまです。ジャパン・デーというイベントでとりました。きれいでしょう! It is dolls festival today (3 March). Japanese households with daughters often put special dolls out wishing their happiness, good health and so on. The following photo shows a beautiful doll set. I took this photo at Japan Day. Isn't it beautiful!
