今週[こんしゅう]の金曜日[きんようび]、5月13日、ワイカト大学[だいがく]でオープン・デーをします。オークランドやホークスベイなどなど、いろいろなところから約[やく] (= about; around)3,500人[にん]の高校生[こうこうせい]がワイカト大学[だいがく]に来[く]る予定[よてい]です。
ミニ・レクチャーやワークショップなどいろいろな催[もよお]し物[もの] (= events)があります。興味[きょうみ]がある人[ひと]は是非[ぜひ]、来[き]てくださいね。高校生[こうこうせい]じゃない人[ひと]も大歓迎[だいかんげい] (= most welcome)ですよ! 詳[くわ]しいこと(= the details)は、このページにあります。
Waikato University will open the doors to prospective students this Friday—13 May 2011. We expect around 3,500 secondary school students coming from Auckland, Hawkes Bay and many other areas.
