Yuzu

Do you know ‘yuzu’? Yuzu is a type of citrus fruit and it is quite common in Japan (the following photo shows yuzu). I wrote about yuzu in this blog before. Yuzu seems popular in New Zealand and now you can buy yuzu flovoured-olive oil. Isn’t it interesting!

3 New Zealand in Japan 3

I wrote about New Zealand mussels which you could buy in Japan the other day. I just found out that you could buy not only mussels but also New Zealand clams! 3… Why not Easter 3…

Why Easter is not established in Japan – I have come up with another reason; it is about chocolate. Easter is indeed the important day for Christians. But we cannot deny the fact that huge […]

2… Why not Easter 2…

I could think of a few reasons that Easter is not so known in Japan. The first reason I came up with is its date. The date of Easter changes from year to year and I do not think Japanese people are particularly fond of […]

ANZAC Day

It is ANZAC Day today. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. Anzac Day is now a national day for remembrance of people sacrificed themselves in wars, peacekeeping operation and so on. It was originally to honour the members of the ANZAC who […]
