今[いま]、世界中[せかいじゅう]で大人気[だいにんき]の「One piece」。東京[とうきょう]のアートギャラリーで展覧会[てんらんかい] (= exhibition)がありました。このことは前[まえ]にこのブログでも書[か]きました。
There was the exhibition of One piece – one of the most popular manga in the world now – held in Tokyo (I wrote about this here sometime ago).
その展覧会[てんらんかい]、この日曜日[にちようび]に終[お]わりました。先月[せんげつ]には来場者[らいじょうしゃ] (= visitors)が30万人に達[たっ]し(= to reach)、最終日[さいしゅうび] (= the final day)には51万人に達[たっ]したそうです。朝日[あさひ]新聞[しんぶん]のここやここで読[よ]みました。人気[にんき]の高[たか]さを示[しめ]して(= to indicate)いますね。私[わたし]も日本[にほん]にいたら、行[い]きたかったです。
The exhibition ended this Sunday. By the mid of May, over 300,000 people visited. And this Sunday we learnt that over a half million people paid a visit there throughout these three months! (according to this article andthis article of Asahi Shimbun Newspaper). It shows its enormous popularity! I wish I could have visited there…
