ニュージーランドではまだまだ寒[さむ]いですが、少しずつ春[はる]の兆[きざ]しが。。。
It is quite cold in New Zealand but we can see a sort of signs of spring here and there.
写真[しゃしん]は、桜[さくら]の一種[いっしゅ](= a type of)です。正式[せいしき]な名前は、Prunus campanulata.です。毎年、春[はる]が訪[おとず]れる少し[すこ]前[まえ]に咲[さ]き始[はじ]めます。写真は今週[こんしゅう]ハミルトンで撮[と]りました。
The photos show a kind of cherry (as far as I know!) and its official name is Prunus campanulata. It blooms a bit before Spring. I took these photos in Hamilton this week.
