Have you heard of Tanabata before? Tanabata is a festival held in Japan on 7 July.
What we normally do is to write down a wish (e.g., I would like to pass the exam) on a strip of paper and put it on a bamboo tree. I remember I wrote some wishes and decorated a bamboo tree with those paper strips when I was a kid.
