文化庁[ぶんかちょう]が、アニメーターの卵[たまご]を養成[ようせい]するために、2億[おく]円[えん]を使[つか]うそうです。
BunkaCho (= The Agency for Cultural Affairs in Japan) has announced that 2 oku yen, equivalent to over 3 millions NZ dollars, were set to train budding animators.
日本[にほん]のアニメは国際的[こくさいてき]に有名[ゆうめい]です。しかし、最近[さいきん]日本[にほん]の技術[ぎじゅつ] (= skills)の質[しつ] (= quality; standard)が落[お]ちて(to fall)きたそうです。それは、お金[かね]を節約[せつやく]する(= to save)ために製作[せいさく] (= production)の一部[いちぶ]を海外[かいがい]にある会社[かいしゃ]で作[つく]るようになったためです。海外[かいがい]で作[つく]るので、日本[にほん]で作[つく]れる人[ひと]が少[すく]なくなってきました。質[しつ]の高[たか]いアニメを作[つく]るためには、原画[げんが] (= original pictures)や動画[どうが] (= motion pictures)を作[つく]る高[たか]い技術[ぎじゅつ]をもっていることが大切[たいせつ]なのだそうです。
文化庁[ぶんかちょう]はこれから30分[ぷん]短編[たんぺん] (= short stories)の企画[きかく]を募集[ぼしゅう]するそうです。その企画[きかく]で、動画[どうが]や原画[げんが]を描[か]く訓練[くんれん] (= training)ができるようにするそうです。このニュースは、先日[せんじつ]朝日新聞[あさひしんぶん]で読[よ]みました。
2億[おく]円[えん]とはすごいですね…。
Japanese animation is now internationally well-known. But the standard of the Japanese animators has been an issue these days – it is because the production companies in Japan nowadays hire foreign companies to complete their products with less budget. Consequently there is little opportunities available in Japan now for young animators to learn advanced skills required to create high quality animation.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs has called for an application of 30 min short stories of animated picture. The successful applicants will be funded by the agency and receive all sorts of support to gain special skills for producing high quality animation. I read this news at this page of Asahi Shimbun Newspaper the other day.
But you know, three millions NZ dollars is such lots of money for animation…
