朝日[あさひ]新聞[しんぶん]で今日[きょう]、NOTTV(ノッティーヴィー)が4月[がつ]に始[はじ]まる、というニュースを読[よ]みました。これは、スマートホンを使[つか]っている人[ひと]たちのための、テレビ番組[ばんぐみ] (= TV programme)が始[はじ]まるということです。スマートホンでテレビが見[み]られるのです。これは日本[にほん]で初[はじ]めてだそうです。見[み]たい人[ひと]は、月[つき]に420円[えん]払[はら]う(=to pay)ことになっています。
これって、世界[せかい]的[てき]には(= internationally)もう普及[ふきゅう] している(= prevalent)んでしょうか。すごい(= amazing)時代[じだい] (= era)になったものですね!
I read this article in Asahi Shimbun Newspaper today reporting that NOTTV, the first TV broadcast targeting Smartphone users in Japan, will start in April. The subscription apparently costs 420 yen per month (about 7 NZ dollars).
Is this type of broadcasting common across the world now? What an era we live in now!
