そうです、明日[あした]土曜日[どようび]、チーフスは決勝戦[けっしょうせん] (= final)に出[で]ます!
これに関係[かんけい]して(= related)、私[わたし]はおもしろい経験[けいけん] (= experience)をしました。
先週[せんしゅう]の土曜日[どようび]、私[わたし]は街[まち]の喫茶店[きっさてん]へコーヒーを飲[の]みに出[で]かけました。そこに、チーフスとクルセイダーズの選手[せんしゅ] (= players)がいたのです! でも、特[とく]にファンに囲[かこ]まれる(= surrounded)わけでもなく、ふつうに、ほかのお客[きゃく]さんと同[おな]じようにコーヒーか何[なん]だか(= coffee or something)を楽[たの]しんでいました。そこにいた選手[せんしゅ]の1人は、2011年ラグビーW杯[はい] (= Rugby World Cup)で、オールブラックスのキャプテンだった、リッチー・マコイ! クルセーダーズの選手[せんしゅ]で、とても人気[にんき]がある、有名[ゆうめい]選手[せんしゅ]です。その選手[せんしゅ]たちが喫茶店[きっさてん]を去[さ]る(= to leave)ころ、数人[すうにん]の子[こ]ども達[たち]が寄[よ]ってきて(= to approach)、一緒[いっしょ]に写真[しゃしん]を撮[と]ってもらっていました。
この選手[せんしゅ]たち、みんなとてもとても有名[ゆうめい]な人気者[にんきもの]なんです。でも、とてもリラックスした雰囲気[ふんいき] (= atmosphere)で、ニュージーランドだなあと思[おも]いました。日本[にほん]だったら、どうなっていたでしょうか。。。

Related to this, I had an interesting experience.
I went to a café in the Hamilton CBD last Saturday. Then there were a few rugby players from the Chiefs and Crusaders!! BUT. There were happily alone – none of them was mobbed by fans or anything like that. They were just enjoying coffee or something there like any other customers. One of the players there was Richie McCaw – yes, he was the captain of the All Blacks when they won in the 2011 Rugby World Cup! He is a player of the Crusaders and loved by all the nation here! The other players were all famous and popular. As you might expect, when they were leaving, a couple of kids approached them and took some photos with the players.
It was really pleasantly relaxed and nobody really bothered the players. I thought that this was really New Zealand-ish scene. What would happen if it were in Japan…
