「猫[ねこ]バンバン」知っていますか。 Do you have any idea what 'Cat bang bang' is?
猫[ねこ]バンバン、と言うのは、車のボンネットなどをバンバン、とたたいて、中にいるかもしれない猫に知らせることです。
今、日本はとても寒[さむ]いです。猫などがよく、暖[あたた]かい車の中で寝ていることがあります。猫が中にいるのに車を運転[うんてん]すると、大変[たいへん]です。だから、ボンネットをバンバン、とたたいて猫に知らせる－猫バンバン、という呼びかけがあります。日産[にっさん]自動車[じどうしゃ]が呼びかけているようです(日産自動車のフェイスブックに猫バンバンについて書いてあります)。ニュージーランドでは聞いたことがありません。ほかの国ではどうでしょうか。

'Cat bang bang' means that we, human being, knock a bonnet of our car ('bang bang') letting know a cat which might be inside the car.
It is very cold in Japan now and cats and some other small animals often sneak into our cars to warm themselves up. If we do not notice such a situation and drive the car, it would cause disaster. To prevent that, Nissan, a car company, launched 'Cat bang bang' campaign lately (you can find more details in its Facebook). I have never heard of such campaign in New Zealand. How about your country?
