The University of Waikato will close at 5pm today and reopen on the 3rd of January. You can see beautiful red flowers in New Zealand now (see the above photo) – this is called Pohutukawa or New Zealand Christmas Tree. When we see this flower, we really feel summer is indeed here now! 今ニュージーランドのあちこちできれいな赤い花が見られます。これはホフツカワという木で、ニュージーランドクリスマスツリーともよばれます。この花が咲くと、ああ夏[なつ]が来た！、とすごく感[かん]じます。
