4月の映画は『春_［はる］の雪_［ゆき］』で、今週の木曜日、4月2日にワイカト大学のL3で上映_{［じょうえい］}の予定_{［よてい］}です。大正_{［たいしょう］}時代_{［じだい］}の貴族_{［きぞく］}のお話_{［はなし］}で、ラブ･ストーリーです。三島由紀夫_{［みしまゆきお］}というとても有名_{［ゆうめい］}な日本の小説家_{［しょうせつか］}の小説_{［しょうせつ］}をもとに作_［つく］られた映画_{［えいが］}です。みなさん是非_［ぜひ］来てください。

Story: Japan during the Taisho Era (1912-1926) faced dramatic change, as traditional values mixed with Western ideas. Spring Snow is a tragedy set in this period, between two aristocratic families struggling to find their place in the new society. Satoko, daughter of a noble family that has fallen on hard times, meets Kiyoaki, the son of a nouveau-riche samurai family. Both are deeply in love with one another, but Kiyoaki’s pride prevents them from being together. It is only when Satoko accepts a marriage proposal from the Imperial family that Kiyoaki realises he will lose Satoko forever and decides to run after her. But is he too late?
