私[わたし]は郵便局[ゆうびんきょく]の切手[きって]センターから時々[ときどき]ニュースレターをもらいます。今日もらったニュースレターのはじめには、以下[いか]のように書[か]のかれていました。

Heitiki というマオリ芸術[げいじゅつ]によく現[あら]れる意匠[いしょう]が今年[ことし]のマタリキ記念[きねん]の切手[きって]のデザインに使[つか]われています。このHeitikiは彫刻[ちょうこく]とか、アクセサリーでよく見られるニュージーランドではおなじみ(onajimi is familiar)のものです。以下[いか]の写真[しゃしん]は Heitiki のペンダントです。
