以前[いぜん]、お弁当[べんとう] (= boxed lunch)を作[つく]ってブログをしている男性[だんせい]のサイトについて書[か]きました。

今[いま]、日本[にほん]ではお弁当[べんとう]が流行[はや]っている(= popular)んだそうです。多分[たぶん]、不景気[ふけいき] (= recession)でみんなお金[かね]を節約[せつやく]したい(setsuyaku suru means to save money)んだと思[おも]います。自分[じぶん]でお弁当[べんとう]を作[つく]ると、買[か]うより安[やす]いし、それに、健康[けんこう] (= health)にいい食事[しょくじ]をすることができます。
今日[きょう]、朝日[あさひ]新聞[しんぶん]で、お弁当[べんとう]グッズ(= goods)を売[う]る店[みせ]の紹介[しょうかい]の記事[きじ]を読[よ]みました。このお店[みせ]は、いろいろなお弁当[べんとう]箱[ばこ]や、お弁当[べんとう]に関係[かんけい]のある(= related)グッズだけを売[う]る店[みせ]だそうで、最近[さいきん]とても人気[にんき]があるらしいです。いろいろなデザインの、便利[べんり]なお弁当[べんとう]箱[ばこ]があります。興味[きょうみ]がある人[ひと]は、お店[みせ]のサイトにアクセスしてみてください。
Making your own obento has become very popular in Japan lately—perhaps because of the recession, I guess. If you prepare your own lunch, it would be cheaper than bought ones and moreover, it must be healthier than commercial ones!
I read a report in Asahi Shimbun Newspaper about a shop selling all sorts of goods related to obento: namely containers, chopsticks, bags you would put your boxed lunch into and so on. This shop sells only obento-related goods and apparently is quite popular. It sells all sorts of colourfully designed and convenient containers etc. if you are interested, please access its website!
