Panasonic and Honda

Japan has still suffered from the recession. Of course, the earthquake occurred last month has also made a great impact.

I read articles in yesterday’s Asahi Shimbun Newspaper about Panasonic and Honda.  Needless to say, both are very famous, big and international companies.

Panasonic currently have around 380,000 employees all over the world. The company has decided to make around 40,000 people redundant for next two years. Honda has decided not to renew a contract with 600 temporal workers this year who have been working in a domestic factory.

You can read the news of Panasonic here and the news of Honda here (both in Japanese). It is tough….
