花火[はなび](= firework)もありました。日本[にほん]では、夏[なつ]に花火[はなび]のイベントがたくさんあります。でもニュージーランドにはあまりありません。だから、花火[はなび]を見[み]られてとってもうれしかったです。 今年[ことし]来[こ]なかった人[ひと]は、来年[らいねん]是非[ぜひ]来[き]てください! 暗[くら]くなったら、まさにその名[な]の通[とお]り、ナイト・グローとなりました！ Once it got really dark, it was indeed "NightGlow" happening!

ナイト・グローは午後[ごご]4時[じ]ごろから始[はじ]まって少[すこ]しずつ暗[くら]くなって(= to become dark)いきました。友[とも]だちや家族[かぞく]といっしょにピクニックをしながら、暗[くら]くなるのを待[ま]っている人[ひと]たちもいました。とても楽[たの]しそうでした。こういうのって、とてもニュージーランド的[てき]だな～と思[おも]いました。 "NightGlow" started around 4pm and it got darker and darker gradually. Many people had a picnic with their friends and family there while they were waiting for the "glow". It looked fun! I thought this was really common New Zealand-way to enjoy an event. What do you think?  

先週[せんしゅう]の土曜日[どようび]、ワイカト大学[だいがく]では、気球[ききゅう]祭[まつ]りの夜[よる]のイベント、「ナイト・グロー」が開[ひら]かれました。とても多[おお]くの人々[ひとびと]が来[き]ました。これも毎年[まいとし]、あります。来年[らいねん]もあると思[おも]います。 Waikato University hosted "NightGlow", the event, part of the 2013 Balloon Festival last Saturday. There were thousands people there! I hope it will be held here next year! I will show you some photos this week and next week!  

先週[せんしゅう]、ハミルトンですばらしいイベントがありました。昨日[きのう]終[お]わりました。気球[ききゅう]祭[まつ]り(= balloon festival)です。ここがその公式[こうしき](= official)ウェブサイトです。みなさん、気球[ききゅう]を見[み]ましたか。見[み]なかった人[ひと]は、来年[らいねん]、是非[ぜひ]!!　（多分[たぶん]、来年[らいねん]もあると思[おも]います、毎年[まいとし]、4月のはじめごろ、ハミルトンでありますから。。。） There was a fantastic festival having been going on in Hamilton last week – The 2013 Balloon Festival. Doesn’t this look yummy? This is a marinated veges and raw fish with coconut milk, which is Pacific cuisine. We are very international! I ate this at the 2013 International Food Fass’tival. It was indeed very delicious! おいしそうでしょう?　これは、ココナツミルクで野菜[やさい]と生[なま]の(= raw)魚[さかな]をあえた(= mixed)ものです。パシフィック料理[りょうり]です。International Food Fass’tival で食[た]べました。とてもおいしかったです!

We, the Japanese Programme was at the present there! We did Origami. 日本語[にほんご]プログラムも参加[さんか]しました。おりがみをしました。
