今週[こんしゅう]の木曜日[もくようび]、また日本映画[にほんえいが]を上映[じょうえい]します。今月[こんげつ]の映画[えいが]はちょっと古[ふる]い映画[えいが]です。私[わたし]も昔[むかし]、昔に見[み]ました。 この映画[えいが]は、絹産業[きぬさんぎょう] (= silk industry)で働[はたら]いた若[わか]い女性[じょせい]の話[はなし]です。1900年ごろ、日本[にほん]はとても貧[まず]しかった(= poor)です。多[おお]くの人[ひと]たちがとても若[わか]いときから働[はたら]かなくてはいけませんでした。フィクションですが、この映画[えいが]の中[なか]のことは、多分[たぶん]本当[ほんとう]にあったことと近[ちか]い(= probably close to what really happened)と思[おも]います。若[わか]い女性[じょせい]がとてもつらい(= hard; tough)環境[かんきょう] (= environment)で家族[かぞく]のために一生[いっしょう]懸命[けんめい]働[はたら]きました。昔[むかし]は人権[じんけん] (= human right)などの話[はなし]をしなかったので、この仕事[しごと]のために病気[びょうき]になった人[ひと]もたくさんいました。 とてもよくできた映画[えいが]なので、是非[ぜひ] (= by all means)見[み]にきてください。いつものように無料[むりょう] (= free admission)です!
