ニュージーランドのメディアではまったく報道[ほうどう]がありませんが、先週[せんしゅう]東京にある中央大学[ちゅうおうだいがく]という大学でとてもショッキングな事件[じけん]がありました。 簡単[かんたん]に事件を説明[せつめい]すると、中央大学の教授[きょうじゅ]が大学のトイレで刺[さ]されて死亡[しぼう]したのです。今、日本は冬で、大学は後期[こうき]の最中[さいちゅう]です。その教授は先週の水曜日[すいようび]朝[あさ]10時半ごろ、大学のトイレで倒[たお]れているのを学生に発見[はっけん]されました。大学ではいつも通[どお]り、授業[じゅぎょう]が行[おこな]われていました。 まだ犯人[はんにん]は捕[つか]まっていません。早く事件が解決[かいけつ]することを祈[いの]るばかりです。 I read a very shocking piece of news last week on the internet, which, as far as I notice, was not reported here at all. the news was… basically a university professor was murdered on campus in Tokyo, Japan.
